Vaginal Bleeding in the Second Trimester

WebPage_VagBleed2TrimesterVaginal bleeding in the second trimester is much less common than first trimester bleeding.  Two serious conditions that must be ruled out by the ED physician are placenta previa and placental abruption.  This module will discuss a diagnostic approach to patients presenting with second trimester vaginal bleeding.
