Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease

WebPage_COPD.pngPatients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) often present to the Emergency Department with an acute exacerbation of their illness and up to 16% will require hospitalization.  It is one of the few diseases increasing in prevalence and the sixth cause of death worldwide.  This module will discuss the clinical features of COPD and current treatment guidelines.
